What’s that? Don’t like running Marathons because there’s no live music playing? Well lucky for you there is the Rock n Roll Liverpool Marathon! Live music (Rock n Roll to be exact) is played along the whole course to keep you pumped up and motivated for the duration of the full and half Marathon. Mix up live music with the amazing scenery that Liverpool has to offer and those miles will be flying by!
The circuit will take running-folk through the city centre, out towards Otterspool, and back down the stunning promenade before finishing at the wonderful Waterfront with music to listen to all the way around. Who says Sundays have to be depressing! (they still are – let’s be frank about that).
Local bands and live entertainment will feature all along course to encourage runners as they make their way to the finish line. The musically themed race concludes with a finish festival and headline concert outside of Echo Arena to celebrate the day’s achievements or failures! Hey – if you didn’t even bother racing in the event you can still come along and enjoy the race too!
What’s that? You’re looking for budget accommodation in Liverpool City Centre? Well Hatters Hostel Liverpool is just 10 minutes walk away from the start position, all our rooms are en-suite which means you can rest assured that your smelly, blister-ridden feet can air out without disturbing other guests! Brilliant!
