IS THE HOSTEL IN THE CITY CENTRE?
Yes. The hostel is situated smack bang in the city centre. We are the closest hostel to Manchester Piccadilly Station and the shopping areas and nightlife are just a 5 minute walk away.
ARE ANY BEDROOMS EN-SUITE?
All of our private rooms and dormitories have lovely big bathrooms.
IS BREAKFAST INCLUDED IN THE PRICE?
Yes. A continental breakfast is included in the price and is served between 07.30hrs and 10.00hrs daily. Alternatively, you can use our self–catering kitchen to prepare your own food which is open 24 hours a day and help yourself to our Fair–trade tea and coffee.
IS BED LINEN INCLUDED?
Yes. All bed linen is included. Towels are provided free of charge in private rooms. We also have towels to rent for a small fee in dormitories.
DO YOU HAVE SOMEWHERE I CAN KEEP MY VALUABLES?
Yes. We provide safekeeping for small items at reception and recommend that guests use this facility as the hostel cannot accept responsibility for any items lost or stolen.
ARE LEFT-LUGGAGE FACILITIES PROVIDED?
We provide a secure, locked baggage room which is accessible all day – just ask a member of staff.
WHAT ARE THE CHECK IN AND CHECK OUT TIMES?
Guests can check in at any time after 14.00hrs and they must check out before 11.00hrs. For a late check-out, ask the reception at check-in time.
IS THERE AN AGE RESTRICTION?
Yes. You must be 18 years or over to stay in all shared dormitories. Under 18s may stay in private dorms but only as part of a group lead by an adult.
DO I REQUIRE PHOTO ID FOR CHECK-IN?
Yes. We require a valid passport or drivers license at check-in.
DOES THE HOSTEL HAVE A CURFEW?
No. There is no curfew at Hatters Hilton Chambers. Reception is staffed 24 hours a day.
IS THERE A LOCK OUT?
No. Once checked in guests have access to their room 24 hours a day.
WHAT IS YOUR CANCELLATION POLICY?
For individual reservations, the cancellation policy is 24 hours prior to 12pm on the day of arrival.
Bookings made over a minimum night stay cannot be amended to less than the minimum night policy. Where bookings are cancelled 24 hours prior to 12pm on the day of arrival the first night only will be charged. After this time the full minimum stay charge will apply. WHAT ARE THE TERMS FOR GROUPS?
Groups are bookings of 7 people or more. For groups of 7-14 people, full payment/ cancellations must be made 7 days prior to arrival. If no attempt has been made to pay for or cancel the reservation, Hatters Hostel Ltd reserve the right to charge the full amount of the booking 7 days prior to the arrival date. Groups of 7-14 people can contact Hatters Liverpool directly to make a booking.
For groups of 15 people or more, we require a 15% deposit (non-refundable) and full payment is due 4 weeks prior to arrival. Any cancellations/ amendments thereafter are non-refundable. To make a group booking of 15 or more people, please complete the Group Enquiry Form and our Groups Department will be in contact with you within 24 hours.
